ADAM AND HIS WIFE HAD THE SAME NAME (DEBATE)
(Genesis 2:5 KJV) And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not (a man) to till the ground.
Notice “a man” is not capitalized. This scripture is highly specific. This scripture is not reffering to the creation of (Mankind) male and female. In this usage of “a man” it’s referring to an individual man. Who we know will be Adam.
DEBATE: The woman did not have the name as Adam before sin. She was nameless before sin.
I’m not debating the woman was (named) Adam.
I’m not saying God (named) the Woman Adam.
I stated Adam and his wife were both (called) Adam. By (called) I meant their name was the (same).
I’m stating Adam’s wife had her husbands name.
When us people get married today the wife takes her husband’s last name right?
Why is hard for you understand the Woman had her husbands name?
The bible clearly tell us Adam named her because she became his servant.
If they obeyed the Lord, her name wouldn’t be called Eve.
I’m stating the Woman was not nameless before sin.
I’m stating the (female) would be called Woman.
I’m stating (Woman) was not the name of Adam’s wife at all.
I’m stating Adam and his wife were one body.
I’m stating you dont understand how Adam and his wife were one body.
I’m stating you think the Woman was nameless while in fact she was not.
1. (Mankind) is male and female.
2. God formed (a man) named Adam.
3. Woman came out of Man (Adam)
4. A (female) is literally (Man) not a man.
5. Woman is a vessel or a form of Man.
6. Male and female have the (same) flesh.
7. A man’s (wife) is his (own) body.
A man leaves his father and mother.
A man and his wife (become) one flesh in marriage, through sexual intercourse.
Sex symbolizes the untity of Man and Woman. Sex was for procreation. Marriage represents unity and commitment to the Lord.
These things are not figurative speech.
The Lord means it, our wife is our own body. Yes we are male and female.
Our flesh is the same, human!
A lion and a lioness are male and female
Their flesh is the same, cats!
(Genesis 1:26-28) Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
(Genesis 2:18) The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be (alone). I will make a (helper) (suitable) for him.”
(Genesis 2:21-24) So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.
(Genesis 3:16) To the woman he said, “I will make your pains in childbearing very severe; with painful labor you will give birth to children. Your (desire) will be for (your husband), and he will (rule) over you.”
(Genesis 3:20) Adam (named) his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.
(1 Corinthians 7:1-11) Now for the matters you wrote about: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.” But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband. The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife. Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. I say this as a concession, not as a command. I wish that all of you were as I am. But each of you has your own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that. Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I do. But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion. To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.
(Ephesians 5:21-33) Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— for we are members of his body. “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
Wives, (submit) yourselves to your husbands, as is (fitting) in (the Lord). Husbands, (love) your wives and (do not) be (harsh) with them.
